Airborne LiDAR: ACT Government LiDAR 2020 (12 points/m² classified point clouds and 1 m bare-earth DEM; GDA2020 / MGA zone 55, AHD), © Australian Capital Territory and Aerometrex Limited 2020, licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), which permits commercial use; obtained through ELVIS – Elevation and Depth (https://elevation.fsdf.org.au). Modified: tiles mosaicked and clipped; hillshade, slope, aspect, contours, a canopy-height model and canopy cover derived from them. The ACT Government gives no warranty and does not endorse this product.

What the licence asks

  • credit the Australian Capital Territory and Aerometrex Limited (the ACT asks for '(c) Australian Capital Territory and Aerometrex Limited')
  • name the licence, CC BY 4.0, with its link where practicable
  • say that the data were modified: JIS mosaics the tiles and derives hillshade, slope, aspect, contours, the canopy-height model and canopy cover from them
  • do not suggest the ACT Government endorses the work

Modified: warped to GDA2020 / MGA zone 55; slope, aspect, hillshade, topographic position and the inset terrain derived from it. The organisations in charge of the Copernicus programme by law or by delegation do not incur any liability for any use of the Copernicus WorldDEM-30.

What the licence asks

  • when the data, or anything made from them, is shown or distributed to the public, give the licence's notice; because JIS warps and derives products from it, the 'produced using Copernicus WorldDEM-30 …' form applies (Article 6(b)); the wording is fixed
  • add the sentence 'The organisations in charge of the Copernicus programme by law or by delegation do not incur any liability for any use of the Copernicus WorldDEM-30' to any licence or legal notice covering a public distribution (Article 6(c))
  • do not suggest the EU, ESA or the providers endorse the work (Article 6(d))
